Today’s meet was transferred from Callander to Conic Hill – and the two of us who went had a delightful morning walk, followed by scone and coffee in St Mocha at Balmaha. As is often the case, weather was better than expected – cool, gentle breeze – and no precipitation! Lovely scent from pine trees that had been blown over in recent storm. Virtually nobody there when we arrived – but as the morning progressed a steady drift of families coming up the hill; it was the school holidays of course!
