A new venue and area to explore near Appleby-in-Westmoreland. A weekend of two halves. Dry with some sun Saturday; Cross Fell, Little Dun Fell and Great Dun Fell for some whilst others explored High Cup Nick. Wet, very wet, and windy on Sunday; a round of Rutter Force, Hoff Beck on Dales High Way to Appleby (lunch in a cosy cafe), back on the Pennine journey by the River Eden (or the other way round for some). Others walked to Great Asby but were disappointed to find the pub was closed.
