A good turnout for an enjoyable New Year Meet in the comfotable hostel in Kincraig. Hogmanay was windy and wet for three who battled there way to the top of Gael Carn above Garva Bridge. The rest opted for a dry low, level walk. After celebrating the New Year groups dispersed over A’Chailleach and Carn Sgulain or Creag Liath. It was dry but overcast with the odd shaft of sunlight. Departure day on 2nd Jan brought clear blue skies and no wind, so most were tempted to climb something from a Graham above Carrbridge to another Gael Carn at Drumochter.
