The long drive was soon forgotten as we arrived in this magical world of majestic mountains, lochan strewn moors, craggy coasts and sandy beaches.  Saturday was marked by a cold strong NW wind which made for some tough walking on Quinag, Ben More Assynt and Conival, Ben More Coigach and around the Stoer peninsular. The winds dropped on Sunday and the sun came out for parties on Suilven, Ben an Eoin and a coastal walk at Clachtoll. A memorable weekend  in a stunning landscape with tremendous views, good company and a comfortable hostel.
